Transfering workplace

There is a job which is on Royal mail jobs the public site. Does anyone know as a current Royal mail employee how would you go about transfering to that job? I've only just realised there is a separate jobs site for employees so this job would have been on that first I guess. I surely don't fill in the application as if applying for the first time. Should I contact the delivery office directly. Any advice appreciated.

Take no notice of silly billy. Best phone the manager of the Delivery Office with the vacancy you're interested in.
