Not just the extra cost of the fuel, what about road tax, insurance, maintenance costs for the extra vehicles since P&L came in

Our office moved into another office two years ago, and we had the choice of either taking our vans home or having a lump sum payment to cover fuel. We all chose to use the vans to travel to and from work, and this is what they wanted really as parking our own private vehicles in the yard would cause problems.
Now the staff from the office we moved into are complaining that it isn't fair that we can take the vans home, so the bosses have said that anyone can take a van home if they want to.
The whole idea of us merging offices was to save money.

you can be a little sneaky and ask for a copy of "the overnight retention of powered vehicles" policy (i think).
Its quite a hefty read however there are so many elements that we must comply to its easier to not take the van

The fuel bill has gone up.....

The number of deliveries has gone down
The number of parcel duties has gone down
The number of SA's has gone down

I'm pretty sure that the extra fuel costs are more than covered by the number of jobs that P&L has cut from delivery.

Impressive seeing the cost of fuel has gone up much more than that rate.
