told boss we'd not complete and was told to bag it up anyway and fetch back, yet the duties next to us could leave theirs in frame despite having 1hr 45 prep time more than us, and my reserve oppo is supposed to be on light duties?

we have a lumpy carpet here 
just seems crazy that just to make it appear cleared they will pay someone overtime to put the mail back in knowing full well it wouldn't get delivered in the 1st place.
my boss is an approachable bloke, still talks crap some of the time, just seemed funny how he had a dig at us why we were only just ready for off at 10.20 (both 8.10 start) but didn't utter a word to the pair next to us (6.25/7.25 start) other than to say leave it in the frame!
