HCT or shared vans?
I remember when RM first suggested park & loop they said it would reduce fatigue I am now on an HCT walk and feel more knackered than ever before! Judging from the size of the shared van routes I am guessing that even with vans you still walk far more as well. Or are you less tired?

Depends on the walk, if I'm using LWT the whole time walking is a doddle. Carrying + doing flats/steps is more tiring than walking longer overall.

HCT probably more knackering than van share, you either push all that mail around town in a trolley or a van can carry it for you. But then i suppose the stress of a van share wears you out just as much.
