This site is nowhere near representative of what the actual vote will be. You'll get lots of no votes here but a big majority yes in the ballot.

Yes vote from me. Not especially impressed with the deal but I doubt we'll get any better and will most likely be offered worse if it gets rejected. I have little faith in the union leadership. The time to press the deal was before Christmas. We gave up what little negotiating Power that gave us by letting RM drag it into the new year. General opinion in my office is a yes vote, seems to be very few willing to trust the CWU to improve on it and that's from deliveries who as per usual stand to gain the least and suffer the most in this deal!

No one is looking for an improvement in the pay deal or for that matter the guarantees. All the people who are voting NO are asking for an agreement to take place that can be voted on in respect of deliveries, including b&h, workload, dignity and fairness. This is what was passed unanimously in the consultative ballot and was one of the main points put forward by the CWU that needed address BEFORE any agreement would be put to the membership
I suggest that all those that have voted YES should look at these agreements and ask themselves why they are voting against what was a majority decision. After all are we not a democratic entity, and our Negotiators and PEC have failed to carry out the wishes of the majority in this agreement. They have failed to carry out a democratic decision. They were quick to blame the Labour Party heirarchy for failing to carry out the wishes of the rank and file Labour Party who voted to renationalise Royal Mail, but have failed to carry out the wishes of their own members.

Lost faith in the union when they agreed the d2d payment went to everyone. I know the d2d is important to rm coffers but surely the ones that deliver it should get more of the payment
