TARIFF INCREASE - QUADRANT CATERING - W/C 3rd FEBRUARY 2014

Branches will be aware that LTB 1085/11 reported that in future Quadrant would be reviewing their Tariff in October of each year, instead of April and October. This year however they have delayed the increase until the beginning of February. We have now received correspondence from Quadrant setting out the increases that are taking place from Monday, 3rd February 2014.


The business has informed us that they have tried to minimise the effect on our members/their customers. However, you will see from the attached that they will be increasing the prices of breakfast items, some vegetables, Value Plus rolls and sandwiches (which now form a minimal proportion of the sandwich sales), and rounding up the standard tariff hot beverages.


They have also pointed out that prices on popular 5 item and 8 item Full Monty breakfasts have been held.

Can just about remember our canteen RIP!!. Ironically it shut just before our new rep had informed the dom that people were not taking breaks and it was the dom's job to ensure they did. The place is full now but alas the food has long vanished.

Christ sakes stop whinging! canteen my arse. our DO has got 130 staff, 1 coffee machine, 1 water fountain, and a very expensive chocolate/ crisp / sweets vending machine. oh and a microwave oven.
never seen a hot meal or fresh sarnie ever.
