Re: CWU : UNION DIARY 2014 - LEGAL SERVICES SECTION

Branches should be aware that the following extracts were missing from the Union's pocket diary for 2014.

Royal Mail Personal Accident Benefit Scheme (On duty only)

This is an in-house scheme provided by Royal Mail, for accidents resulting in death or permanent physical injury. Claims must be registered with Royal Mail within 6 months of the accident.

BT Personal Accident Insurance Scheme (On/off duty)

This is an in-house scheme provided by BT. Claims are processed via an Insurance Company appointed by BT and claims must be registered with them within two years of the accident

Please also be aware that there are changes to the section- Industrial Injuries Benefit. The changes were published via LTB 084/2013 dated 11th February 2013 - Welfare Reform Act 2012 : Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit.

Diaries 2014
If you have not ordered your diaries and would like to do so please email your request to mmurray@cwu.org or write to Marcia at CWU HQ.
Payment can be made through the branch rebate or by cheque/postal order made payable to 'CWU diaries'. The pocket diary is priced at £1.50 and the desk diary at £2.50.

Charge me for my membership and then for a diary con!!! i wouldn't mind but we havent had a rep in our office for about 2 years talk about unity and all that.
