Since monday we have to fill out a sheet once we've finish prepping. We have to write down how many empty slots there are on the frame and how many items you need to knock on the door for.

Anyone else have to do this? I get the feeling management will use these figures as a way of telling us we shouldn't need overtime.

we did it for an abortive CDV revision - perhaps they are planning one in your office.

It doesn't matter what you put down, they will tell your attendance calls average 17 per day.

It is not a reasonable instruction, unless it is part of something locally and union agreed. Those figures serve no purpose to OPG's other than justification for increasing hours or employee numbers or alternatively reducing workload.
If a Manager wishes to get those numbers then they can carry out that Management task whilst you're throwing it up or perhaps when you take your meal relief prior to tying off and departure.

Union rep at our office said Managers are supposed to do this not OPGs because if he got asked to do it he'd say he had 100% calls every day and 2500 packets

So the next day the manager would come in and look at his duty. You did 2,500 packets yesterday, and had a 100% call rate, today you have 45 with 75% call rate, so take out this extra ...
