IR Framework
Hello, i have to be careful how i write this query, i am a local unit rep and my line manager has not followed the correct procedure in relation to a national agreeement. I have gone to a stage 1 disagreement on this, however he has responded on the seventh day, and not within the week as specified in the ir framework. He has said he is not prepared to accept the disagreement, also to make matters worse he has also gone ahead with the change even though i asked for this to be stopped until the disagreement had been resolved . The question i have what do i do now?

Although you're not supposed to contact your divisional rep and HQ for every little issue a manager completely ignoring the IR Framework and pushing through changes without agreement is something that has to be flagged up as high as possible as quickly as possible.
I might also remind the manager that if he feels able to skip 3 stages of disagreement and go straight to executive action then obviously the office would be well within their rights to do the same and go straight to a rule 13 ballot.

The manager is still held by the present IRF. You have registered a disagreement at stage 1 and he has unilaterally instigated executive action. Immediately contact your area rep and request a rule 13 ballot. Speak to your branch secretary and get them to speak to your div rep if the area rep stalls.

LOL.... Nothing changes, the CWU HQ get a groundbreaking deal, and the management ignore it
