what can I expect ie time for toilet as u tend to go more often tie for mel relief when needed not when they say anyone had any experience of this only diagnosed yesterday atos phoning tomorrow

Have you got type 1 or type 2?

If it's type 1 you'll need to inject insulin at least 4 times a day and will need carbohydrate snacks with you at all times to stop your blood sugar dropping to a dangerous level. Type 2 is what you normally get in middle age and is usually controlled by tablets and diet. As for keep needing to use the toilet this is because blood sugar goes very high and your body try to get rid of it.

probably be type 2 s im middle aged as u put it lolthe thought of 4 injections a day doesn't sond good to me an I work nights

Type 2 is not based on when you eat so the meal relief will be the same as anyone else but type one you will have to snack more often and have a stricter time when you can eat so the meal and brake must be done on your terms and extra time given for snacks injections and any hypos you might have but well controlled type one you should find you will need a few extra bits of brake. Type 1 sufferer

type 2 can also be controlled by insulin so regular blood checks required & possibly snacks if bloods drop. if you are a mgv driver on insulin check dvla website about new rules.

Diabetes type 2 in my case is a mixture of tablets and injections,I carry some health bars with me in case of dropping sugar levels.
The main thing is to make sure that you listen to the doctors or nurses and heed their advice.
