I understand you have to wait 3 years to sell your shares. 5 for tax free sale.

I may have a new job coming up, if I work my notice and leave on good terms etc, do I lose my shares?

If you resign within 3 years of recieving the shares and you're under 60 years of age then you will lose them. If you're over 60 then it's deemed as retiring and you'll keep them.

If you resign or are dismissed

If you resign or are dismissed within three years after being given the Free Shares, you will lose the shares.

If you resign or are dismissed more than three years after being given the Free Shares you will not lose your Free Shares.

If you leave between three and five years after being given the Free Shares, you will need to pay any income tax and National Insurance that is due, but if you leave after five years no income tax or National Insurance will be due.

So the answer is YES - You lose the shares
