Booking Leave

I have 15 days of leave to use up. I've been trying since before Xmas to book any available weeks with my line manager, went to the DOM today and was basically told that any unbooked leave hasnt been budgeted for and it would be unlikely for any to be approved in this financial year. Where do I stand?

The budgeted part is bollocks.Although A/L is part of the overall budget it's a fixed cost and treated separately to normal operational costs.That's what leave reserves are for.

Give him 3 different options between now and April just to be civilised and tell him to pick one, If he says no get your rep involved, take out a grievance and get on the phone to your branch.
