My walk is now lapsed almost daily, when I signed the manager said just the summer.

What is the chance of a repick due to the fact the goalposts have moved.

I might aswell be a reserve.

was a resign done after your revision was implemented? that is pretty much your only hope of getting a resign

Yes following revision last march, and my walk was identified as summer lapsing only, not all year round bar December.

Maybe I could ask for a repick from my seniority downwards?

no chance of getting that, only chance you have is getting them to agree to lapse another duty

one person cant force a resign just cause they are unhappy with the duty, also lapsing is not just for summer it is supposed to be year round if there is time, summer was to enable an extra slot for annual leave and the rest of the year to cover sickness etc

2 walks were already identified for lapsing most year round, and mine was one of another two for summer only, to cover holidays. I guess we will be lapsing 6-8 walks this summer. If enough posties get fed up with there walk being lapsed after the pick then I might get some support.

its not a matter of support, you cant force a resign unless theres been a major change ie revision and even if you could anyone lower on the seniority list than you could keep their duty out of the resign as nothing had changed in their duty
