Slipped on 1 of those shiney cobbled drives yesterday and boy does my ribs hurt,
Only ever fell once before and only my pride bruised as a bundle of mail went flying just as a few school kids were walking by.
Hopefully a few beers tonight will ease the pain

It's the world class mail version of Erica now. No you will be ok as long as you have correct footwear and you do not say you we're reading the mail as you walked.

I have keeled over a few times with those Cat trainers on on block paving that is damp or has moss on, them yellow studs on the bottom of the Cats are lethal its like walking on glass with football boots on. By the way its not a accident book the managers tell you now its called a incident basically its your fault regardless what shoes you wore.

The Magnums are a magnet for dog s**t and small stones. if you wear your own footwear or Royal Mail there is no difference because either way if you fall have a injury its your fault any way so wear what you want and what you feel comfy in. Sod em.

Best to get it on the Erica, regardless of who's to blame. Personally having done an accident investigation course in the past, if investigation done properly and all facts present there should no blame other than for the combination of conditions and footwear.
Unfortunately in my opinion the Erica questions in the past seem to push the blame in one certain direction purely by design.

Either way as long as its reported there is a record should there be an issue with health or work at a later stage.

Management will probably tell you to take more care, especially when the ground is wet or damp.
This is fine, you just take longer on delivery thus leaving the possibility of not being able to complete because of time constraints.
