Family Friendly?..

Post by DICK43 »

A few posties have mentioned family friendly to me over the past months, just wondered what it was?, how I get it?, and would I benefit??, I have two kids and a wife who works the hours that I don`t, any input would be appreciated, thanks...

I assume you are looking for an adjustment of hours. Ask your Dom for a Family Friendly form. Speak with your Rep and request his advice.

I would have thought that with all the comments you make on posts you would understand the theory behind it. However, in essence if your working life affects your family life in a significant way, or changes made by the business will have such an effect, then you have the legal right to apply for Family Friendly way of working. However, the business, while it has to consider it, does not have to honour it, but they have to provide a business reason for the refusal.
