Anyone got any idea how's it looking over the next few days, from what I can see there's gonna be no let up. We just seem to be playing catch up every day this week and the packets/parcels are stacking up.

Long weekend off don't care

Hacked off with delivering last letter and immediatlely straight on collection no break,lol i even ran last 30mins which i haven't done in 20 years,but i done that for my customers not RM!

I'm not holding out much hope for a mega light Christmas Eve like last year.

Today we left a cage of large packets, two sacks and 5 trays full of small/medium packets and still went 20 mins over! Never known it so busy so late, the MC must have just been ignoring a lot of inward mail.

i do try my best to get parcels delivered,even other duties for the obvious reason that its pi55 easy overtime and that it could be kids toys,
still flabbergasted that the voices above decided that we love parcels that much they decided to give me useless postage flyers for every house this Tuesday along with households all week

York and a half of letters carried over to Saturday which is an hour shorter day, packets stacked up, must be at least 75 to 100 still to go. DOM convinced we don't need someone in on Sunday to clear backlog. This is a small office of 14 walks, can't imagine the chaos in larger offices.

First Christmas as a privatised company and I think it's showing that all they are thinking about is the profits, not looking forward to 2014 .

They've shut down the local outhouse and sent the casuals home but word is the mailcentres are still rammed with parcels.
When I left the DO today they were already bringing some of monday's work in.

Yes, letters near enough clear but big backlog of parcels, not that I shall work over or loose any sleep over them this year.
