if this crap deal gets voted in ,, a no strike deal with royal mail is disastrous......... management can do what ever the want. Knowing the CWU cannot call a NATIONAL STRIKE.. management will bring in really really impossible work loads.. and say its been agreed with the union.......... the CWU have given up there most defensive tool...

if this cr.p deal gets voted in... your screwed... the hedge funds, will make you the people slaves to their cause... money and slavery..

As a delivery rep im with you im telling my members Wat deal really is we got screwed in the 2010 deal union agreeing on things they aint got a clue about hence the state of delivery offices. I can still hear the divisional reps telling us how good that deal was and to sell it to our members. Well im afraid once bitten twice shy and ill tell my members exactly Wat this deal. There calling it ground breaking its not unworthy calling it a deal never mind ground breaking. SPREAD THE WORD VOTE NO!!!!!!

You're right Bud...but the stakes are much higher now and I'm not sure what the Plan B is from our point of view if/when the trust breaks down.
It's usually a row and (the threat of) Industrial Action that brings Royal Mail to their senses and back to the negotiating table.

In all reality while the basic protections remain that threat has gone so short of throwing kippers at the windows of 100 Victoria Embankment I've no idea what we could do.

I could understand people voting for the deal if it didn't have the get out clauses attached to the supposedly five year garantee of terms and conditions etc. but with those clauses its really just a pay rise and that's not covered by the "legal" protections i don't think? so who knows if we'll even get to year three of the pay rise.
