Yes your right Xmas is very stressful it's so much work just for only 2days off

I'm on a 9 day fortnight duty,xmas week is my long weekend,so finish Tuesday and not back till the following Tuesday :-)

We have had a few heavy days, but generally speaking it has been steady...saying that the amount of flats and packets(small ones) has been quite significant indeed.
One flat in the city I delivered to last week had ten packets (very small ones).....but no mail....sign of things to come?

Trouble with cutting off is that you have to deliver more mail the next day

everytime I have cut off, it has been taken out by one of the docket kings.
Your DOM is supposed to cover the cut off or if he can't he has to deliver it himself

Such an easy xmas this year? f**k off. How many years have you been on delivery? More parcels and less staff than last year in my DO.
Cut off, but then have all the crap for the next day. It's a vicious circle.
