Boxes of mail left in today.

Boxes of mail has been left in around the UK today as Royal Mail struggles to get the work load out so it looks like another good battering tomorrow (Saturday) But in my office the boxes never came in till 7 40am again (Second day running) so they cant blame the red Royal Mail letters like they did yesterday. just goes to show they cannot cope the second wave never came in till 9 am our manger said we can leave the boxes till tomorrow but people were still leaving the office at 10 am and floating back in at 1pm so then they got told to throw boxes off on walks because they came back early. Will they ever learn?

we were off IPS at 07:40 today (2nd wave was in at 06:30 today - earlier this week was not in until 07:35 with an agency driver ) ( we have got 5 going in early though to sort first wave cards / flats )

no one left the office until 10am and no one will be back until 3pm at the earliest.

some walks were not even out by 11am, but all was clear inc packets ( we are only a 26 walk office though )

One walk was gone out at 9-15 but left two boxes of mail in even though the time for leaving the unit is 10 30 the pair came back at 1-15 then done overtime with 1hr15mins still left on their duty.

LOL I don't give two creamy sh***s when the mail comes or when I go out on delivery coz I'm finishing at 2.40 manage the mail manager I've done my job :middlefinger

like i keep saying on other threads, if mail is getting left in and you think your manager is not reporting it, remember he must count every single item to report it correctly, then email moya telling the office and amounts of mail, your dom will be in deep trouble if he is not reporting it

We had more than 50% of sequencing left in yesterday as it didn't come off the machine until 9.30 onwards.

On our round yesterday. We left four 25ish minute loops in and still ended up going 1hr over our finish Time. Hardly ever get out of office before 10.15. I have been working with a new starter for last 3 weeks on one of the largest rounds in the office. Really struggling to complete on time any day. Never mind last day today then off for a week. Just Xmas eve and Xmas eve eve for me. Good luck all for next week.
