Is it just me?

Post by BingBong »

Since we have gone to using HCT's and WLT's I am experiencing back pain and pain in my calfs and wrists!?

I though this was meant to make the job lighter on us not put us in pain!?

Usually my knees and heels that feel it. My thighs were in pain today though. It's common sense that cycling is easier on the legs than walking. And having a bag carried by a bike is less stressful than pushing a full HCT. Shame no one in any position of power understands common sense.

No it is not just you . For those of us who are above average height ,the trolleys are a complete pain, literally and metaphorically. Yet another half baked, poorly thought out idea from the half witted interbreds ,in the stupid ideas department, who wouldn't know what a delivery looked like if they fell over it.
By the way the RAC man informed us that he is getting more and more calls to broken down RM vans due to blocked particulate filters it just keeps on getting better. Not.

My back and hips were painful for the first couple of months but settled after that. About 18 months on now and all seems ok.

My lower back hurts after pushing a HCT. If i do it for a week in a row it really feels tender by the weekend - it just doesn't seem very well designed for such long use

Hmm, apparently I'm doing it all wrong by carrying no more than 8kg bags, but since our revision 2 years ago when I stopped carrying heavy bags I haven't had any issues with my back and knees. (I have a knee condition from birth and a lower back problem that used to flare up regularly)

Most of my bags aren't even 8kg, they average 2 bundles and one of those is in hand so it's usually 1 bundle plus packets on my back. Best thing I ever did.
