Which bright spark sent all those Red Letters out today 1st class from Royal Mail for every household? That's was a proper p**s take its our busiest time of the year and some clown sends them out today. It was that bad the letters got munched up in some of the sorting machines and prevented the coded boxes getting out on time this morning. Only good thing out of it was our manager said we can do them over a few days but still that's not the point. The point is GREED they want more and more money from these letters. Them letters has sent a lot of posties over today so the ultimate price has been paid the other way...

a little email to moya saying that this has happened will probably yeild some interesting results :) even area manager definitely does not have authority to delay these items

You would of thought the Royal Mail would send out letters that were able to go through the sequence machine but no they design them to get rejected and have to be manually sorted at our worst month in the year for traffic unbelievable its as if they want break offs

We got em and were told we had three days to get rid. It's a bit late now, they should have been sent out weeks ago - if at all. Spamming everyone isn't the way to win business, it just looks desperate.

Complete cock-up. Not only were the red letters unsuitable for the CSS machines we had the double whammy of a letter for every house advertising some sort of "government energy scheme". 2nd wave was unsequenced and we finally got out of the office at 11am. Oh, and why were the RM letters (which any sensible company would have sent out 3 or 4 weeks ago) made of the most slippery paper available.

Royal Mail management, and those vastly overpaid, underworked executives, haven't the combined intelligence of a Gnat.
Small wonder that at the busiest time of the year, with us drowning in mail and packets, they decide that now is the right time to burden us with that crap.

Seems like the company is all manager and office minded, they don't have to go outside so don't know what it's like and they don't care, need a good powerflush from lino's upwards, cut out all the deadwood!
