Private Car Insurance.

Are private cars covered insurance-wise to be parked in the space left by the car owner's work van i.e in the yard, just prior to going on delivery? Also, are their H&S concerns that would make this practice ill-judged, to say the least?

say you have a crash in a car park you just claim of your insurance or the other drivers you dont claim of the shop or outlet mall

We're being made to do it by management, to free up parking spaces in the actual car park for Xmas Casuals. I'm not convinced that my insurance will cover my car being pranged in a busy business yard. Somebody's is bound to come a cropper before Xmas ends.

we are not allowed to park in spaces used for vans even though we have a real parking problem i.e no parking spaces for posties to start their duty which in turn means posties coming in early members of the public also take up parking spaces to go shopping or even to catch the train to work.
