Contact when off sick

Hi
I'm off sick at the moment and have sent in a 4 week sick note, my IBS hasn't been this bad in a very long time, I cant face phone calls and meetings at this time from the people that made me ill, just the thought of it makes me feel sick, so what is reasonable contact when your off sick?

I have been off for the last two weeks and make contact with my DOM on Tuesdays and Fridays just to let him know what is going on.

you need to agree with your DOM about when contact needs to be made, and to do that you have to contact him or he will try and contact you.

make it easier on yourself by contacting him first and at least that way you will know when you need to contact him and not have to worry about him phoning you all the time.

iv had so much hassle from my DOM for my IBS and he was asking me to come in every week at 8am (i live 30 mins in the car away from my office) and it got to the point i said enough is enough ill phone you once a week in the afternoon and he kicked up a stink so i told him fine YOU drive to my house and ill speak to you at the door ..... so we ended up having a weekly phone call in the afternoon

and PS. defo dont feel like you have to come back to work i did but i stayed in office on rehab for about 2 months as my IBS was terrible due to stress ect

This is true, I was off last x-mas because of a RTA in RM car park and the year before illness, thanks for reading my posts.
