f**k All that's why I say NO the money is ok but they Royal Mail need more commitment to this one issue and it's Get out clause for the whole business is what worries me sort them things out and it could be a deal if they can sort all the other deals out as well.

Money seems to be the only issue with the shitty cwu union. When I was working in our
delivery office wages were only a tiny part of the problem. Changes to the job
were the biggest challenge, but the union can't see that. Too far up managers
arses nowadays, and that is a fact.

Totally agree... Sort out get out clauses and the delivery issues head on...only then will I vote yes.

and what about walking everywhere for 4-5 hrs a day i have tested walks on my floating and they are abot7-9 miles as we all know walking up stairs of flats hills etc, our bodies are going to be knackered by the time we retire what are the union doing about this,i used to work day off but now don"t because body aches so much,bikes took a lot of the strain and i really do not think the rm can survive long term with guys walking so much, we already have 3 guys off with knee problems this will only get worse long term we need union to agree to look at this seriously

oh let's replace the delivery supplement with say, an incentive payment whereby you personally need to deliver "x" amount of D2D per week/month to qualify. Cutting off is a dis-qualifier of course, as is sickness, holidays, training etc. It's not the company's fault if you only had 3 D2D this week, and the target is 4 every week this month. Oh you don't like it? Well you agreed to take no industrial action so don't think about boycotting your D2D, you'll be down the road.

only started reading this forum while the talks have been ongoing, now that the talks have finished i'll stop reading it as the constant negative comments are unreal, out in the real world people are on a pay freeze, have no pension,do not get 6 months full pay when off sick, do not get 6 weeks paid holidays, yes things have changed but how many people have left Royal Mail to work else where on a minimum wage with no rights, keep moaning it seems to keep you happy.
