so if the vote was now, how would you vote?, a lot of lurkers have their own opinions no doubt, lets see how the majority of BMs think?

To many get out clauses in this deal, and that is just reading the bullet points.Im more interested in getting my workload looked at than a pay rise.Obviously im not going to turn down a pay rise but just quickly looking at some of the main points in this deal i feel there will be to many ways that royal mail will wriggle out of parts of this agreement.So i will be more than likely voting NO but i have yet to read the full agreement which i will do when it becomes available and then and only then will i make a final decision one way or another but as i say its looking like a NO vote for me.I just hope everybody has learn't from the 2010 agreement and will not think about the money but our long term working conditions which quite frankly are at breaking point.

I voted NO as it was never a money issue to me just a fair days work for a fair days pay issue if I want more pay I would do it if the workplace issues were sorted none of this has been done! This so called agreement is a sham it has deals yet to be agreed and deals NOT TO STRIKE as to any deals disputes with that kind of deal! Is the union kidding no strike action the sort things out yourself locally

I would be interested in the details of the agreement.

A couple of things stands out to me, the ability to cancel the agreement in "exceptional circumstance" such as if there is a strike breaching the stability pact or other as yet unspecified exclusions.

How B&H will be addressed on the ground and any sanctions on DOMs and Linos that engage in it

I've never voted yes in the 30 years I've worked there, always vote no on principle...
I can always say I never voted for this shite then..

It'll go through anyway, pretty sure of it because the cash'll swing it.. Thing is, you'll not hear many say they're voting for it but you'll not see their ballot paper will you..

I will vote 'NO', knowing that because many of my colleagues, along with the vast majority of Britons, are lousy, just so lousy, when it comes to living within their means, a few lousy hundred pounds will be too irresistible to turn down, no matter the high price we will all pay in the long-term as our working conditions worsen even further.
This deal, from what I can make of it, changes nothing as far as I can see. There will be no fair days work, for a fair days pay. Not in Royal Mail deliveries anyhow.

You can still strike the only thing is that it may give RM cause to withdraw from the agreement if they think its beneficial to do so. I would think carefully on that if I was RM and the shareholders want stability.

Yeah, technically we can strike, but this contract has the potential to put us in a bad position. Get offered a reduction in our T+C because of "changing market conditions" or lost them all by striking.
