Re: Holiday pay
Shame that as we are on pre scheduled overtime and not scheduled attendance. If only the wording was different network would have been included but at least distribution, mail centre , delivery staff will get this!TrueBlueTerrier wrote:only in regards to SAcloherty1976 wrote:It's now 6 weeks instead of 4 weeks if this is your entitlement.

Re: Holiday pay
So is that 6 weeks, because bank holidays are included or is it 6 weeks if you've worked for RM for 20yrs, 5 weeks if you've worked for 15yrs etc?TrueBlueTerrier wrote:only in regards to SAcloherty1976 wrote:It's now 6 weeks instead of 4 weeks if this is your entitlement.

Also, does it include any weeks of purchased leave ?

I would think not but you never know. But if they have agreed these things in principal they should understand what they are agreeing too surely before trying to sell it to the membership!DAF85 wrote:RTP wrote:So is that 6 weeks, because bank holidays are included or is it 6 weeks if you've worked for RM for 20yrs, 5 weeks if you've worked for 15yrs etc?

Re: Holiday pay
I would guess, just maybe, it would go towards making up for the unpaid breaks? Not that this is said specifically but that's the reasoning behind it...?

but there in lies the trouble..........cloherty1976 wrote: I would think not but you never know. But if they have agreed these things in principal they should understand what they are agreeing too surely before trying to sell it to the membership!
We should not have to second guess what the reality of the proposed agreement is - the absolute meanings should have been ironed out in the months they have taken to broker this agreement, especially after the "woolly" 2010 debacle.
Agreement in principle is one thing but application in the real world is often totally different
