Giro for wages cock up

Hi Guys ,

We have lots of problems at our office regarding staff being underpaid overtime on a weekly basis , does anyone know of any agreement or info regarding giro payments.

Same at our DO on a fairly weekly basis..Doms must have a ceiling for o/t and forgt to pay you all or some o/t.
I usually tell them I want it the same week and get it from petty cash but that must get pretty low when they drink so much coffee
Not sure if there is any agreement but you are entitled to it that week, contact HR and there should be a phone conversation between the two and some form of payment to you...with so many managers in DO's one of them can surely put the o/t figures in

missing overtime is becoming a problem in my unit to, always write down the ot you book is what i tell members as this is happening more and more!

Overtime which has not been paid can be put into your account the next day as long as its input onto PSP by 3pm.

We always have to wait until the following week to receive missing overtime payment(s) with our normal wages.
If Royal Mail put us on monthly pay, no-one in delivery office would work over!
As far as the managers are concerned, our unit just re-alocates hours from lapsed duties and/or light duties; so, outside of Christmas pressure, overtime doesn't happen

5 weeks underpaid in a row now, seems to be a Christmas thing, have to go find it on the sheets then always paid it in the following weeks packet.

I get my Lino to check my previous weeks OT on a Monday afternoon, so any cocks up can be rectified before the cut off day. Saves a row on thursday when I get my payslip...

Its totally down to your DOM to put the hours in for OT , we never have a problem always get them , Think some need telling you wont do OT unless he makes sure your getting the money the following friday
