there was never £300 for not striking, it was part of RMs initial offer for the pay deal which was rejected so it was never available to you

the reason you were getting the comments is probably because they didnt realise you are registered for less than a month, there were loads and loads of threads about the mythical £300 at the end of october, it was a nightmare because people kept on asking about the £300 that they thought they were getting but never existed

now a little twist in the tail is, there is now a proposed agreement that is going to be put to the members for a vote one, this agreement will more than likely have some sort of lump sum payment even possibly being £300 but wont be tied to a no strike clause, but as yet that agreement is still confidential and not been released to us mere mortals so it is only speculation to how much it is and when it would be paid, personally i would guess it will be recieved in january

A majority of people working in my office are really looking forward to their £500 bonus £100 + £100 + this £300 in the next week or so! When I keep telling them the £300 never really existed I am told not to be so negative!!

It's the CWUs fault for the lack of information, not the OP. The only letter that has been sent to posties houses was the letter mentioning 300 for not striking. They haven't striked so they will expect it.

cant really lay this at the CWUs door, RM were the ones who gave the false information not the CWU blame is with them, and the CWU did send all members a letter saying that the £300 offer was false and misleading
