The PEC ammended the agreement and voted to accept the document as amended.

Royal Mail and the CWU are both talking about when they both communicate to members , their staff and of course the shareholders.

Of course everyone wants more information but that's the answer.

We will all have to be patient and judge the agreement once we have read it.

If the PEC amended the agreement and voted to accept the document as "amended" were the amendments acceptable to the negotiators ????

I can only think that the pec are taking so long to consider the proposals that they may reject the deal. They must of been briefed throughout the negotiations

They take so long because it's hard to decide what to tell us, in the best way possible to sell the deal and make them look like they've worked hard..

They cannot reject the deal, as u will have heard on most news channels, there has been a deal agreed, and there will be no strikes before Xmas, so what don't u understand about it,, u will get vote and some financial gain in 2 weeks, ie some kind of bribe, still hopefully all will be resolved on deliveries, as it's that bad

If there is "some financial gain" then it should be a Branch Block Vote so we can get our financial gain before Christmas.

people in delivery should throw this agreement in the toilet if it doesn't have clear solutions to-b&h/workload/office savings driven by management bonuses & fulltime staff that leave/retire or get the sack(most cases) being replaced by 20 hour bag carriers that put more workload on us.

If the PEC think they can amend the agreement I reckon the RM board will be rubbing their hands waiting for their turn to amend the "agreement", what a f@cking shambles.

It's not likely to be a serious amendment that would require another look by Royal Mail so it's probably something to do with the choice of font.
