Retire at 70

So Gideon is set to announce that those in their 20's will now retire at 70. Those in their 30's will retire at 69 and those in their 40's will retire at 68.

So considering BSI is the same for all age groups. meaning that posties in their 60's are expected to work as fast as posties in their 20's, because the computer says yes.

This needs looking at. BIG TIME

If your using the trolley you wont be working that fast.
We all should be working properly, its the only way to show the job what it really is.

There's no chance in hell I could do this job when I get past 60. Late 30's now I feel dead after delivery

I find it utterly obscene that a bunch of Eton millionares [theyve never done a proper days work in their rich boys life] can dictate how we live our lives! POLITICS IN THIS COUNTRY NEEDS A MASSIVE CHANGE!! As long as they feed you your sky tv, internet and a fortnight in Benidorm the average "im alright Jack will continue to sell their soul

I think the important thing to realise is that retirement is a financial decision rather than a age decision and state pension age is simply when we recieve our state pension, although it is possible to defer it beyond SPA.

Personally I'm in my mid forties and plan to retire at 60 at the latest and hopefully pack in at least full time work before that. :Very Happy
