Do I have to apply, take the test and interview like I did when I first joined or is it a simple request for transfer and if RM record is tickety boo I simply report to a different DO?
This is the first job I have had that I really enjoy, I absolutely love it and would recommend to anyone unhappy with their office jobs etc.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
This is one of the sad facts about working for RM. Somehow it seems to drain your confidence and just makes you miserable.
There are far worse jobs out there but there is just something about the job which changes peoples outlook.
