whats going to be the outcome of the talks tomorrow,im guessing a deal has been reached,but whether it suits us is something different,any reps have some inside info they would accidently like to leak out,oh and please I want none of you sad b******s saying IT WILL BE ANOTHER EXTENSION

This ballot has had more EXTENSIONS than a four bedroom semi in Muswell Hill going into East Barnet for god sake call it now DEAL OR NO DEAL!

What came before was "agreed to the company's offer to extend the validity of the industrial action ballot until the final permissible date, 3rd December 2013 - the last date that notice of strike action can be served".

That's not to say it rules out a token stoppage, to extend the validity in law.

Remember it an it a deal till we agree to it read the deal if there is one at this stage? I don't think we will get any kind of deal which I could recommend but if anyone has a copy I would like to see it but I do not think we will get one. I think the CWU will get took to the line and Royal Mail take it to the High Courts and will need a re ballot as such time has passed since the last ballot!

if they did call a strike chances are rm would get their injunction, because its been a while since the ballot was announced, and the membership count could have changed since then. i.e. members who have now left the job through being sacked/found other jobs/dropped out union, etc. i doubt they would have no difficulty at a court hearing. farcical once again.

Our union rep said it was a done deal, so hopefully we'll be quids in for xmas with a 5 year contract

Got to be a done deal tomorrow. We've had more extensions than a chavs house at Christmas.

I agree and i also think redundancies are inevitable within whatever contract they get, especially for non drivers . To be honest if they offered me a decent package i would seriously think about it
