Tyson Jerome Barnette, a letter carrier and member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, one of our sister postal unions in the USA, was fatally shot on 23 November whilst delivering mail in the dark, in Cheverly, Maryland, a suburb of Washington DC.
The CWU have sent a message of condolence to the family of Tyson and the NALC.
We would ask all CWU members to take a minute of their day to remember Tyson and honour his memory.
