PBS payments

Just a quick question. Does anybody have a link to the old PBS agreement or if not can they tell me if PBS payments continue after a transfer to a different area??

Yes it is the monthly payment. its just i didn't get it for the first few months then it started again and i wanted to find out whether they owe me money or i owe them before i kicked up any stink.

I think PBS is mentioned in both the 200 Way Forward Agreement and the Pay and Major Change Agreement from 2004 - might be worth checking them out. Both are in Downloads IIRC

I have looked here and they mention the PBS agreement a few times but i cant actually find the agreement on here or the official CWU website

99.9% positive you take your bonus with you, it was changed 2-3 years ago as you used to change over to new office bonus payment...... new starters stopped getting bonus at same time of change.
Would say very good chance you will get it backdated to when you first moved.

I moved office 4 years ago, to an area where they dont get a pbs payment, and yes, to this day i have always been paid it. Good news for me was that the area i moved to reicieves RRIS payment of about a fiver a week and i get that now too so its a win win.

It's a reserved rights payment and you keep it if you transfer even if the office you transfer to is on an higher PBS payment.

The BR 2010 agreement made it a reserved rights payment

I moved office 4 years ago, to an area where they dont get a pbs payment, and yes, to this day i have always been paid it. Good news for me was that the area i moved to reicieves RRIS payment of about a fiver a week and i get that now too so its a win win.

I've just been in touch with HR and have been informed that because it was a voluntary transfer i would lose it does this sound right??

if you moved voluntary you may not be entitled to it and have to pay it back thats all i meant
