Question regarding x mas bonus

ok this £200 bonus.

couple of part time lads are working full time hours + more this x mas now can i get them the full bonus or will it still be pro rata.

Needs some ammunition for the manager because I think its unfair that they only receive pro rata.

I know the shares were dished our based on hours work not actual hours so this should be the same right?

I think you might be more successful if the manager has made the posties full time (temp) or put them unto full time duties for the xmas period as opposed to doing full time hours on OT.

I am a part-timer and if i remember correctly, the Xmas bonus was pro-rata, however the Xmas pressure OT was paid at Scheduled Attendance rate.

Good luck with the issue. It is only right people are treated the same and fairly.

I am pretty sure that all this applies as to the contract that you are employed on, rather that the hours that you work. You may be working full time hours but on a part time contract, so pro rata still applies.

If they've been upgraded to full time for the pressure period other they'll get the full bonus.

If not they'll just get pro-rata.

Yeah, happens to me every Xmas,, work 40 hours but only get half the bonus(20hour contract)

in our office yes we get SA for OT however i think actual pressure starts on the 9th for many offices.
