Can you insist on a union rep being present when discussing atoms report. Some1 IN my office
Is worried that the dom might refuse what is recommended in report.

He can/could against it but then I would question if he is medically qualified to do so.My DOM took on board everything that ATOS suggested but when my office closed and we moved location,my DOM went to another office and my new DOM was a complete knob which led to my condition getting worse and eventually led to IHR (yippee).DX wrote:Can you insist on a union rep being present when discussing atoms report. Why do you not just ask the office manager for a copy of the Occupational Health Report. You can then show it to your union representative if you so wish to discuss

personally i would maybe insist on your doctor being present when its being discussed, that would make an interesting meeting :)

I did put in a grievance in against my dom for putting my helth at risk.Guess what i ended up being dismissed.Only w matter of time and these "Bullys" will be exposed for there actionswhisperstar24 wrote:you have a right to have a union rep present if you feel that there is something in the report from atos that requires a reasonable adjustment to be made by the report's finding and your rep should be asking the manager to make those adjustments for you if for example it comes under dda.You have a right to ask the union rep to write to atos and challenge any findings in the atos that you consider are unfair or incorrect. The manager can make his own decision on an atos report but if he gets it wrong and your health suffers,you could use the grievance code against him.Also remember IHR is the last resort that should be used when it comes to the new attendance procedure,all other options should be used first.
