Branch Election

Hello,

Our branch elections are not due till the summer, I'm the main rep in my office but what happens if somebody else stands for election as well, can I cover myself so I'm still involved by getting nominated for deputy rep as well?

That's forward thinking muppet - contact your branch they should be able to tell you. Our branch has one bloke holding two posts with commensurate release time

Yeah I just know somebody else wants to do it and think It will be a close call in voting as some people realise how hard I work but others expect me to control what happens in the office and it's not always that easy.

TBH I'd let him have a go if he thinks he can do a better job then maybe he'd find it's not all milk, honey and an easy delivery.
