Explaining overtime using facts

Right as its getting busier and busier, booking extended delivery is becoming a lot more necessary!

Now - our DIM likes to run on facts and figures, namely model week and IW flipping T!! As such just saying "I've got too many packets" or "I'm busy" just isn't good enough justification for claiming overtime or asking for assistance .

So the question I ask is, so I too an argue my workload on facts and figures, are we entitled to know what model week says about our walk, i.e. how long you should be sorting for, how many knocks you have got etc etc
So we can say, for arguments sake, "I'll be claiming half an hours overtime as I have 20 more knocks than model week has allowed me" (<<< hypothetical btw ) At the moment they make you feel inadequate and like you should be working quicker

p.s. I book wether they like it or not (if I genuinely work it) but it throws up other issues such as them being awkward etc etc........ you know the score. I don't think it'll be long before I'm banging in another B&H form........

I wouldn't mind if it was for HUGE amounts of overtime, but its a few times a week amounting to less than 2 hours, and its nearly Xmas ffs. They are first class knobs lol

I've heard that they've had to extended the release date a week or two due to technical difficulties...


Anyway..
This may sound crazy, but have you asked your DOM what the figures are? Be interesting to see what their perspective is... Do you not get told the daily traffic figures? We are told just so they can try to justify their pathetic lapsing regime.

We get told 21 knock-ons/attendance calls per 500, although I hear elsewhere 20.

As for model week, pick a hideous week you remember where you went over your time, that's probably what the idiots with no idea call "model" - there is a chance that some (small minority) of duties can complete in time, every other struggles.
