How many are only bothered about the money?

Seems to me in my office that the frustration everbody's venting is based purely on the fact that they might not get a nice fat lumper before christmas.
Seems a bit short sighted to me but I understand people are struggling...

Just wonder how much of the frustration and anger all over this forum is based on money alone.

The money is a concern I won't deny it, but considering I voted yes to strike, striked the last time round and voted against the last 2010 deal of the century (we all know how that turned out) I'm pretty sure I'm not a money grabbing bastard.

A lot of those members will have voted yes to strike action purely because of pay issues.
It would be hypocritical for us as a union to campaign for and accept their votes and then criticise them for getting frustrated.

You want honesty. Well here goes re "My office". 4th busiest in the country. Stick the cash up yer ring. We are still waiting for 2010 national agreement to kick in for fuxake. What happened to majority full time? Close to 50/50 here. I can't call it management bullying (BUT IT IS) I have to call it harassment. The p&l planners are a waste of space and should be strung up. 4 times they have re-jigged their calculations ffs. So NO its not about the money. ..

Almost exactly what I predicted ages ago, a small increase meaning the 3 year deal is around 9% with a lump sum as a sweetener.

And the 35 weeks (and counting) of back pay?

If the deal doesn't include back pay I'll be voting against it regardless of what else is on the table.One reason I voted against the 2010 Deal due to the removal of d2d payments, delivery's still haven't had a pay rise as far as we're concerned due to the loss of the d2d money.
Some duties lost as much as £60 a week (3 a week) and with d2d's forever on the increase we're losing even more money, not to mention the colleague share fiasco...regarding that I thought the union was supposed to be raising the subject with RM in the current talks.
I'm getting fed up with being offered the same pay deal just jumbled around to appear to be better when RM will be laughing at us for the 50 million was it? they have already saved in back pay from April.
