Filling van with own money!!

Hi, got a bit of a question!, I filled van up for first time the other day, (just gone into delivery methods!), told by PHG to take last fuel card on shelf, (no fuel card for our van yet!), got to pump, filled up, went to counter, told card was not for that van, (duh!), wouldn`t take card, I had two options leave van and walk back to office or pay with own money!, on the spot I choose the latter, DOM has told me she will put In a SRT? (some three letter abbreviated word), or something, my question is how does this work?, will I get the money back in my payslip?, how long will this take? and what does the bloody abbreviation stand for??, thanks.....

Happened to me once, called the office , made the manager put down his coffee & donut and come to the fuel station and pay...then delivered to my time & cut off......

I've had the fuel card for my van declined a couple of times. I just phoned up the office and they gave me the card number for the master fuel card. Every office should have one, works for any van and is used for hire vans etc.

Our card was declined. You fill in some paperwork. Name address etc and its a promise to pay within 3 days. The manager takes the paperwork out with their card and pays. End of. Just to add, I put the name in as Royal Mail and the office address, not my own.

my card got declined, tescos just took my name and van reg and i went back later after delivery with the mastercard ,,,, no problem

Pay with your own money and it's probably months, if ever, that you get it back.
But if you're fortunate to be a regular at the garage fill a form in there, then get a valid card from the DOM the next day to pay with that.
