Answers to the Courier Quiz

Post by Cut Off King »

COURIER- ROAD SAFETY QUIZ
I just thought I would run these answers past you all because I'mm sure I'mm going to win an obsolite ipad 1 in this comp.
You have to look at the pics and state whats wrong & how it can be prevented.
My answers are in order of the pictures 1 to 5

1-Postman appears to be working....call in sick again
2-Postman appears to be distracted by a Yummy Mummy at the school gates.... Think of her psychotic 6' 7" ex boxer husband & what he'd do to you
3-Postman has missed a packet for the last village....Chuck it in the back and leave it for the cover duty tomorrow.
4-Mail has dropped off so much that there is nothing to load into the van....Cant be avoided so leave the office, ride home, kip, come back and claim 2 hours overtime.
5-P&L means there is no time to wash the van so a puddle will have to do....Leave the cleaning to the mech.'s at service time

Do you think I'll win or have you any better answers...... :Very Happy

Just gave the courier a quick flick through and then chucked it in with the recycling, as I always do (when I realise that it`s making my tea come back up!), but, I have to say, (wow) that leaflet caught my eye, I applaud you, eduf*ckingtainment, (wow), Royal Mail, I`m loving that!!!!..
i`m sorry but you missed out a few things, a) a picture of me trying to take my 40 min dinner break while driving (a three course buffet blu-tacked to the dash) and b) my abusive & racist van share partner shouting abuse from the van at all and sundry so that i`m too frightened to stop at a red light!.
As soon as you put these omissions into the quiz, I will be sending my entry in for sure..

1. Cab isn't strewn with Greggs bags, empty cans and assorted RM ephemera from the pair of tramps who used the van last.
2. Scenery isn't a blur due to driver not screwing the arse off cdv to get done in something resembling his time
3. A copy of the Courier is the only reading material allowed whilst driving/climbing mountains/performing CPR on prone colleague etc
4. York is not rammed with parcels and hasn't been attached to van with hairy string.
5. This was a trick question. All water would be frozen solid at this time of year and would cause no hinderance to delivery. In fact due to limited traction we would expect all duties to be completed quicker. Ha ha!
