P&L:Anyone got 4 day week/10hr days?

We have a few on 4 days weeks. I think it is 6 duties out of about 100. They are 0400 starts and do extra IPS. Fixed tuesday off since the extra IPS is not needed plus a rolling day off. Spans are the same as everyone else so planned at 4h but realistically about 4.5h. We are all FT. I think if you wanted a 4 day week for a large number of staff you would need a high proportion of PT so that there was enough indoor work, otherwise you would need massive spans and they are long enough already.

i do 4 day week/10hr post revision 2 rurals + one floater 0800-1800, sort round then delivery rtn 50min break then start collections 1545-1800! ,1-3 sat off, week 1 fri sat mon tue off,week 2 wed thur off!

They have 4 day duties in my old office.

The only way RM can make them work is to give the duty holders a van each!

We have 2 * 3 day 10 hour duties - job share indoor.

What's gone - 12 hours OT each week
2 * 39 hour duties.

What's arrived - 2 * 30 hour duties
Cover duty reduced from 39 hours to 26

Total 43 hours removed from depot indoor duties, 3 former full time staff now part-time. 2 by choice, 1 go pt or medically retired (no choice there then)

Workload still increasing though.
