Makes you wonder why they bothered mentioning it, that and the final extension, followed by another final extension, with the biggest communications march since 1971 on the 4th Nov which didn't happen, like the original decoupling of the pension followed by a ballot on it that never materialised. I think it will be an ultimatum, either a deal by Wednesday or we will strike on the following Monday.

I personally think they will announce a strike. It can always be called off. Obviously there is no deal yet and unlikely to be one by tomorrow. If they don't call it we will run out of time. I'm hoping for a deal but won't hold my breath. If it doesn't address the problems on delivery I will vote against it anyway.

wrong. the extension lasts till Wednesday, tomorrow is a meeting of the national executive to decide on further action or not
