Best gloves?

That time of year again, I tend to stick with Thinsulate finger-less gloves but are there better?

And what about when its -1 and pissing down and you have been out in it for 4 hours, pushing a trolley around and even with wet gear on you still get wet, and your hand is froze to the trolley. What then!

Skin is waterproof....
To be honest I have more problems with cold feet than hands,probably because they are a long way from my heart....and the RM footwear isn't great at keeping the water out.
I remember back in 1995 when it got down to around -22c here we were virtually breaking open letterboxes and one guy from a nearby office ended up with frostbite.

How do you work out what size your hands are?

Measure around the widest part of your palm, back and front.

The measurement in inches/ sizes as below

XS S M L XL 2XL

I find the thin neoprene ones excellent to wear and use, good for holding and flicking through mail and suprisingly warm. Mate of mine works in tesco,s cold storage unit gets them, i,ll try and find out the name and where to get them.

These are really good, as you can peel back the finger tips on the gloves for better grip on mail. :)

those snowbee neoprene gloves look ideal for delivery hitcher.

had a pair of blue dot work gloves from local mail centre last year, cut glove tips off thumb and first finger on those, very good but like the RM mitts, don't keep out ice/snow.
previously I've tried having a spare pair of mitts and also tried cycling gloves but the velcro was a nuisance
