The management response this morning to 'can't complete' complaints was make sure all the packets are delivered don't worry about the mail, apparently this is from higher up executives.

Really! Ours dont seem to have got the memo when i left at 2:30 we still had 10 yorks of packets left. The managers were concentrating on them smaller things, them letter things. Their gonna feel silly tomorrow if they should have done the parcels!

Must be a mistake this as We Love Parcels . Maybe we should all ask moya why after spending all that money on an advert the first thing we leave is packets. Great customer service.

It won't be long before mail will be delivered maybe 3 days a week and Packets 7 days a week.

Mail must be delivered as obligated under the USO, otherwise massively fined. The pkts arn't under the USO so can be left. We've had this argument before, the price of postage of pkts in comparison to letters, but that's how it is! Like people have said, RM say pkts are our expanding business, & yet show total disregard for them, making no provision for them!

Today we had to sort and deliver a bulk posting of matalan books which put us behind an hour on leaving and had to cut off parcels at the end to finish on time. Its about time managers managed the days mail and let us do this cheap mail in 2 days , after all ,other offices might get their matalans 2 days later so whats the rush.
No investment has gone into packets, trying to get 3 sackfuls into 1 while they just pile up and spew into other bags , the manager watching on / while playing with his phone. Yet dsa and d2d get priority. Hermes and dhl etc must be laughing at us . CRUD MANAGEMENT

I'm afraid to inform you that you are incorrect.

The USO covers First and Second Class retail letters (letters, large letters and packets), Second Class retail parcels, bulk First and Second Class letters, Special Delivery (secure and insured) and International Outbound and Inbound mail.
