Auditors...what a con!

So this week we had an audit,lots of managers running around like headless chickens moving cardboard boxes,moving drop bags,moving personal effects off delivery frames,at one stage there was 18 managers in ,some from nearby offices to help con this auditor into what a great place the shithole is to work in.
Usually you can't move for parcels,D2Dustbins left strewn around festering for weeks on end,items are left on top of the frames that need killing off,even mail is left in as we are so short staffed but it all mysteriously manages to disappear when one of these clowns turns up! Even the LWT managed to disappear off the landing bay area where they usually act as gravemarkers for all the dead and knackered posties who have since been medically retired.
Why do they always announce they are coming,is it any wonder that the top brass think everything is rosey in the garden when this sort of shite goes on?

tell me about it we had them last week place has had the new office revamp it a total shambles worse than before day they turn up all parcel hidden all yorks out of site today f***ing kayos
couldn't move all back to normal.best laugh is they are moaning if we make a coffee to have at our fittings lol.

Ive always said this , and get rid of managers, stuck in all day with numerous other dda / limping staff doing nothing when we are overloaded on delivery and that is where the customers are! Get the old time and motion men in and pay them just the 10 hours pay they actually work a week.

well this is it isnt it. they announce they are coming and as you say, they run around like headless chickens getting the house in order. the auditors wouldnt win any secrecy awards. if they arrived at all the offices without notice, most managers would be out of a job.

Why do the Auditors give them a warning when they are coming? unexpected would catch them out good style..

Been done like this for years,ive seen mail taken out of frames and put in empty filing cabinets,parcels locked up in garage area.Yet a postie can bring back a couple of missorts and before you no it your suspended then dismissed f****** disgraceful.Co uple of my ex colleagues have promissed me some nice photos if it goes tits up this xmas as at has in past.Guess where they are going if hopefully it happens first email to Moya Greene the next one to a national tabloid.Maybe then they will stop sacking people for "Wilful Delay"..hypocrytes

Few years ago we had a manager who kept telling us to leave packets and would not pay for overtime to clear them.
When he found out that the auditors were due he asked all the transit drivers to fill up there vans with the packets and bring them back when the auditors left. We told him to f**k off.
He then got his linos to hide the packets in a storage cupboard and pretended there was no key
We grassed him up to the auditors and guess what happened .
Absolutely nothing.

We had our Safety Audit, and whilst we were aware that it was scheduled a week in advance we made no changes to our environment or our usual practices.
