Another Week Extension On Strike Ballot

Looks like we are being sold down the river, Its another extension, CHRISTMAS will be over and we have lost our power.

I am worried we are going to be lumbered with total flexible working I have to say after the 2010 deal you do kind of get suspicous about all these delays

The way some people talk, Xmas is the only time we can go on strike.
Now I'm sure someone on here could tell us exactly how many strike days the CWU has called in the last 15 years .....and how many of them have ever been at xmas?
If it was only as simple as "let's go on strike at xmas because RM will have to capitulate to all our demands".

you know i am a strong supporter of leadership and union. but be sure rm are not taking usfor a mug. if it goes beyond Christmas we will get zero protection and all be on min pay. time running out, joker played...hand tipping to rm. jan no hand to play any more and we will be stuffed big time. And I don't think the union would recover from it.

RM will be looking for major savings for the extension to 5 years on terms and conditions and a bigger pay rise.As a frontline delivery postman I am very concerned that we will come out of this deal working even harder than before. My area rep seems to think RM are after more flexible working.
