How many of you delve into topics on here and you can relate so much your blood starts to boil

I thought I'd had enough of this company before, but I've really had enough now, it's just reached a point where the bulls**t surrounding this company is tiring now.

Anyone doing anything to get out or have recently got out?

Plan to leave in the next 9 months. I don't want to end up like the guys in my office. The ones who have been with RM for 20 odd years and hate everything.

Been out for nearly a couple of years now---and what joy. no mre sore feet, back ,legs. No stress. Did over 16 years!! It was a good job, not now!

I had anger probably greater than you while in a previous employment but made the mistake of not getting out soon enough.
I haven't looked back though since working for Royal Mail and should have done so years earlier.
Of course there are some aspects of this job I will have a moan about but if things get too bad and there are alternatives with better job satisfaction and maybe similar pay then it's daft to stay with Royal Mail.

I think the plan in my MC is to completely destroy morale ,so that people leave.The problem with this idea though is there is nowhere else to go to at the moment .So,in my view, this has meant that the office has been left with a completely demoralised workforce.

I've been looking for another job on-and off for 4 years, there's nothing suitable for my family without a 60% pay cut. I can't afford to quit so I just have to suffer the depressing workplace and incompetent management.

When anyone from our office sees someone that has left or been sacked, they're always earning £500+ a week - at least that's the story they reel off.

being in the office with retarded Dims and useless linos, whos sole meaning in life is to walk around, saying " not my job ", then peace is restored when out on delivery

Only 4 years, but joined just after the strike in 09

Don't go spoiling people's illusions about life outside of RM.
Most leavers seem to work a two hour day three days a week and earn easily a grand, on a bad week, plus the boss's PA gives them a good seeing-to every Friday afternoon.
Funny how so many seem to come back as Xmas temps and casuals though..
