Hello all, Its been a while

Has there been any changes to the romec sick procedure and can someone give me a link/download of the current one?

Just wondering if romec have moved to the same procedure as us, any help is much appreciated

I thort this Stage 1,2 and out thing was changed? I recall having something thro the post - ha ha - about there being "a nice talk over tea and biscuits" about, How you'll get better and do your best to not go sick again etc.

Ok, not exactly in those words, but something along those lines, or did I imagine it?

Ill look thro my file of useful info to see if I can dig it up.
Anyone else thinking along these lines, or have I totally got the wrong end of the stick?

Just to Clarify the OP is asking aboutROMEC sick procedure not Royal Mail please ensure you are passing the correct information.

I'm a Romec CWU rep - yes the new Employment procedures (drawn up jointly with the Union) are now in force. As a general rule, the trigger is 4 absences or 14 days in any 12 month period (2 or 7 days for probationers) - its not set in stone, though - things like operations and convalescence do not automatically trigger a stage, as long as there is documentation. Hope that helps
