Stamps on ebay

Can't believe how many posties are selling their stamps and xmas card this year, either they're very skint or just have no reason to post anything. Doesn't say much for the companies future!
On searching for 1st class stamps though you STILL see 1000's of unfranked stamps put up for resale only to be bought by BIG posting companies and individuals whose money we rely on yet they're getting our services on the cheap.
It's about time once a stamp has been used it CANNOT EVER be used again, much like a bus ticket etc.

Do people who have retired still get them? In which case they cant be sacked!

Obviously many get through unfranked and the only security thing on them is the 2 oval windows which should not come off when a stamp is steamed off. I think all stamps should be inked over by franks or pen to cancel them.
